Chiropractic

A Chiropractor will take a history and perform a physical to diagnose your health concern. Treatment can include spinal adjustments, various forms of soft tissue therapy and modalities, medical acupuncture and active rehabilitation.
Other services offered are custom orthotics, kinesio-taping, sports injury management and motor vehicle accident rehabilitation.

The birthing process can be traumatic, which can have negative effects on both mom and baby. At the Oshawa Wellness Centre, we treat babies as little as a few weeks old to toddlers for a number of various issues.


Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists are primary health care professionals with a significant role in health promotion and treatment of injury and disease.
They combine their in-depth knowledge of the body and how it works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat symptoms of illness, injury or disability.


Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

A pelvic floor physiotherapist (PFP) is a specialized physiotherapist, registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, trained to assess and treat pelvic floor dysfunction conditions. Our PFPs provide patients with pelvic floor exercises and education based on their individual needs uncovered through a thorough assessment and diagnosis.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) treatment is a specialized therapeutic technique designed to support the body's lymphatic system, which plays a vital role in maintaining immune function and fluid balance. This technique is often used to alleviate swelling, enhance detoxification, and promote overall well-being.

Dr. Aleisha Adeboyejo graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology where she was the student therapist and strength coach of the McMaster Varsity Football Team. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Aleisha is currently a Clinical Sciences Resident in the department of graduate studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractor College where she is completing clinical rotations at Hamilton General Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, and St Michael’s Hospital as well as teaching clinical education and anatomy to undergraduate chiropractic students. She has taken part in research at Toronto Western Hospital involving degenerative disc disease for which she went on to present at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Research Conference in Orlando, Florida 2016. Dr. Mark Asquith is a lifelong resident of Oshawa who grew up playing competitive hockey, soccer, and rugby. He obtained an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University and during his time there volunteered at the Brock-Niagara Centre for Health and Well-being. He worked alongside individuals diagnosed with a variety of neuromusculoskeletal disorders ranging from Parkinson’s disease to multiple sclerosis. He strived to enhance the quality of life of those around him by assisting individuals in rehabilitation through specific programs focusing on exercise and active therapy.

Dr. Mark’s passion for helping others led him to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to complete a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, where he graduated with clinical honours and Magna Cum Laude. In addition to this, he has obtained certification in contemporary medical acupuncture from McMaster University.

His aim is to build positive relationships and help all individuals attain their own goals by providing care that is evidence-based, and patient-centered. Lindsay grew up in the Durham Region in a very active family and was involved in many sports from a young age. Her strong athletic background, combined with a keen interest in the human body and how it moves, led her to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. She became especially interested in physiotherapy after witnessing a relative undergo intensive rehab for a spinal cord injury. She realized the significant impact a physiotherapist could have on an individual’s physical function and overall wellbeing, and she aspired to help others in the same way. She went on to complete her Master’s degree of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2012.

Since then, Lindsay has worked in various orthopaedic clinics around the Durham Region and has gained extensive experience treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. She has a particular passion for treating the athletic and paediatric populations. Her approach to treatment is very hands on, with a focus on restoring function and re-training proper body mechanics. She uses a wide range of techniques, including soft tissue release and joint mobilizations, personalized exercise prescription, acupuncture, and patient education. She is very passionate about helping her clients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Lindsay also values the importance of continuing education and has taken several post-graduate courses to enhance her skillset. She has advanced training in manual therapy, acupuncture, and various taping techniques.

Throughout her studies, Dr. Camastra has pursued additional training to achieve certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Webster Technique, Functional Range Release, Emergency First Responders and athletic taping. She is very committed to supplementing her knowledge and expertise through further continuing education. Victoria graduated from Queen’s University with a Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy, after achieving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University. She grew up participating in various sports in the Durham Region and continued to pursue soccer, playing varsity all throughout university and continues to play semi-professionally now. Her love for being active and interest in the resiliency of the human body led her to pursue education in physiotherapy. However, it was not until she got first-hand experience working with individuals from her community and helping them to achieve their goals, that she knew this was the right career path for her.

Victoria’s positive nature, empathy, and passion for helping others enables her to deliver patient centered care and empower patients to take control of their lifelong health and wellness journey. Her treatment approach emphasizes education, manual therapy, and individualized exercise prescription. Dr. Andrew Cregg was born and raised here in Oshawa and became heavily involved in sports from a young age. His passion for athletics led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University where he was an active member of the varsity men’s rugby program. After sustaining a significant injury and visiting a chiropractor for the first time, he fell in love with the profession and decided to pursue a career in rehabilitation. He went on to obtain a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and then a Master’s in Health Science from Ontario Tech University where he conducted research in the field of biomechanics and ergonomics.

Dr. Cregg is currently a sessional lecturer in the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto and he previously worked with the Chinese Women’s Olympic Hockey Program as a performance coach and rehabilitation expert. This unique role allowed him to travel the world and contribute towards the health and athletic development of his athletes while collaborating with strength coaches, technical coaches and an international health care team. He has also worked as a sideline trainer for multiple youth hockey programs in Toronto and has helped with pre-season physiology testing with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Dr. Natalie Daley was born and raised in Whitby, Ontario, where she grew up doing competitive dance and many other recreational sports and activities. She suffered from a variety of sports injuries as well as chronic headaches which sparked her passion for pursuing a career in rehabilitation and healthcare.

Dr. Daley graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic college and her passion lies in prenatal, post-partum/c-section recovery, and pediatric care. In 2021 Dr. Daley had her son who experienced many feeding difficulties, tongue/lip-ties, and gas/reflux. After struggling to find the appropriate care for him she decided to expand her studies to be able to help offer better care for him as well as to other new moms and babies.

Dr. Daley also has a lot of experience treating athletes, sports injuries, headaches/migraines, neck pain, lower back pain and more. Katie graduated from the University of Toronto in 2011, with a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.

Since, she has worked in private practice in various orthopaedic clinics, mostly in the Durham Region. Early in her career she spent time in Whistler, British Columbia where she got experience working with elite and recreational athletes, including professional skiers, snowboarders and mountain bikers, as well as National and Olympic athletes.

Katie practices dry needling, and has additional training in taping, the Mulligan Technique, McKenzie Method and Functional Movement Screening Techniques. She values the importance of continuing education, and continues to pursue these opportunities.

Manish is an experienced Physiotherapist who believes in a team-based approach that includes the patient as a pivotal part in delivering a highly effective treatment plan. Dr. Deanna Nickle was raised in Oshawa, Ontario, where she grew up playing competitive hockey, soccer, ringette and lacrosse. Growing up with a variety of sports injuries, she knew she wanted to pursue a job in healthcare and rehabilitation. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology where she played varsity lacrosse. Dr. Nickle then completed her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2021.

Dr. Nickle has a passion for pediatric care having two boys of her own. Through her own experience with her two boys, she has learnt the importance of early intervention. Maddie is in her second year of the Master’s in Physical Therapy program at Queen’s University. This is her fourth placement of the physical therapy program. Maddie has previously completed three placements in an outpatient private practice clinic working predominantly with musculoskeletal injuries and athletes, in an in-patient spinal cord injury rehabilitation hospital, and in a surgical and medical acute care hospital setting. Maddie also completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University graduating in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science Honours with a Specialization in Kinesiology, and a Certificate in Disability and Physical Activity.

Shannon graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2004, and has been working as a Massage Therapist in a multidisciplinary setting for 19 years. Over the years she has treated many clients who have had joint replacements, been involved in motor vehicle accidents as well as work related injuries. She has additional training in pregnancy massage, myofascial release and has taken several courses in orthopaedic injuries and whiplash related injuries. When treating clients, Shannon uses numerous Swedish Massage techniques and is able to offer deep tissue work in combination with relaxation techniques. Bram is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Centennial College’s 3 year Advanced Diploma Massage Therapy program. Bram is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and is also a member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

Bram’s focus in Massage Therapy is to help people achieve their goals through treatment that is collaborative, educational, and effective. His own experiences with sports-related injuries have led him to continually seek out techniques and strategies that can help others mitigate injury and better recover from their sport-related injuries. He uses his assessment skills to help athletes, of any level, proactively recognize their personal areas of strength & weakness in order to pursue training programs that mitigate typical sport-related injuries in the future. This ensures that athletes are able to perform at optimal levels for the greatest length of time.
